Stowaway Cosmetics - "Life"-size makeup!

No, I'm not talking 5'4" lipstick tubes. That would admittedly be pretty cool to see, but this company is making a big impact in a slightly more petite way! 

What is Stowaway Cosmetics?

Stowaway cosmetics is a recently-founded cosmetics company that aims to do what many successful business do: solve a problem in a super cool way! As stated on the Stowaway website, their "direct-to-consumer model allows [them] to offer "right-sized", premium products at an affordable price." (minus the embarrassing Shark Tank pitch. That lipstick is so not Mr. Wonderful's shade)

Ummm, what the heck is a "right-sized" product? Why don't you just say "tiny"?

Just the word "tiny" gives the feeling of inferiority, but that's definitely not the vibe this company is giving off. Remember those "problems" I was just talking about? Well here are a couple that founders Chelsa Crowley and Julie Fredrickson were tired of dealing with and how Stowaway tackles them:

1. Super-sized makeup that reaches its expiration date before you could ever hope to finish it.

Let's be honest, you are not about to throw away your holy grail signature MAC lipstick shade or toss your $20-a-pop Make Up For Ever shadows before you even hit pan. If you are one of those people who has enough makeup to keep Sephora stocked for a year, it can be very difficult to use up a product entirely. 

While many makeup products do have a shelf-life of several years, it can be easy to collect and keep products for a very long time and just as difficult to finish them. Don't even get me started on mascara. Stowaway Cosmetics provides products that are made to be used up before they expire. This model is sanitary (MASCARA!) and also seems helpful in avoiding hoarding. Ever pulled out that foundation you forgot about only to find the pump crusty and the product oxidized or separated? Cue a big Jimmy Fallon "EW!"

2. Super-sized makeup that is bulky in purses and a pain to travel with in general.

I feel like this part is pretty self-explanatory, but here it is straight from the horses mouth website:

I really can't think of anything profound to add to that, soooo boo-yah. 

If none of these super-legit reasons convince you, let your mind drift to the travel toiletries section at Wally World and CVS. You know you want those super-cute tiny toothpastes. You would pinch that teeny lotion bottle's cheeks if it had them. Don't lie. 

Welll, what kind of tiny right-sized products can I get? If you say glitter nail polish and mood lipgloss after I just read all that super cool stuff, I'm gonna be ticked
